They Let Me Back On

Another KTHV appearance, filling in for Jeff Hankins who’s on another golf junket somewhere.

I actually did a little better this time, only getting tongue-tied a little toward the end when I had to read “River Market Place plans …” And is it me, or does my voice sound a little like a Muppet’s?

Darrell TV

My pal Darrell Brown got a little news coverage over the weekend. All the hoopla surrounding yet another Arkansas presidential candidate gave KTHV-TV, Channel 11, a chance to look at what the candidate’s supporters are doing on the Interwebs, including Darrell’s MySpace page for Mike Huckabee here.

Darrell had just a little more than 100 friends on the MySpace page on Sunday before the story aired at 5 and 10 p.m. He’s now clocking a little closer to 200.

Just quick glance at other candidate Web sites and you’ll notice a huge reliance on blogs and videos and online fund-raising. Like Darrell notes in the KTHV story, the Internet is where it’s at this year for the presidential race (even more than in 2004).

Unfortunately, KTHV didn’t stream video of the appearance, but you can read about it here.
