Today on “Today’s THV This Morning,” I got to interview Tommy Foltz, the executive director of the Arkansas Clean Transportation Partnership, about the first Alternative Fuel Vehicle Odyssey Day in Arkansas. Click to see video of the interview.
The event takes place from 10 a.m.-noon Friday at Winrock International here in Little Rock. Gov. Mike Beebe and Arkansas Agriculture Secretary Richard Bell will be among government officials there discussing alternative fuels — including biodiesel, electric power and compressed natural gas — and the future of alternative energy in Arkansas.
The event also features all manner of alternative fuel vehicles, so you’ll get to sample some of the cutting edge technology in that field.
More on Alternative Fuel Vehicle Odyssey Day is available at its Web site, NationalAFVDayOdyssey.org.
